Rev. Dr. Randy Woodley doesn't just write about changing the world—he and his spouse are actively growing it back to health, one seed and one story at a time.

This public intellectual and award-winning writer has spent decades bridging worlds that were never meant to be separate: Indigenous and academic, spiritual and practical, ancient wisdom and urgent contemporary need. From their 10-acre regenerative farm in Oregon, the Woodleys challenge us to see beyond the Western worldview that's brought us to the brink of disaster—and offer something better.

Randy’s writings, from acclaimed books like Journey to Eloheh (co-authored with his wife Edith) to award-winning film scripts, don't just diagnose what's broken in our relationship with the earth and each other, they offer a way forward through what he calls The Harmony Way—Indigenous teachings that show us how to walk on this earth in a good way.

As a person of Cherokee descent, recognized by the Keetoowah Band (Jan. 5, 1995), and a tenured Professor Emeritus, Randy calls himself a recovery PhD. moving from the academic world, back to something more rooted: a teaching farm where he and Edith, an Eastern Shoshone tribal member, are learning alongside others how another way is possible.

Through Eloheh Indigenous Center for Earth Justice and Eloheh Farm & Seeds, and their cultural consulting work, the Woodleys are restoring cultural integrity to everything from Hollywood productions to local communities. They're not just talking about decolonization—they're living it, teaching it, and growing it into existence.

In a world desperate for wisdom that actually works, Randy and Edith Woodley offer something rare: hope rooted in soil, stories that heal, and a vision of harmony that's both ancient and urgently needed.
